While LG itslef relies on KODAK for the same, it is highly unlikely that Apple would choose them.

Also rumored is that some tiwanese supplier is already making touchscreens for a netbook by apple.

A new rumor from SmartHouse is making the rounds today, with alleged sources claiming LG has partnered with Apple to make OLED displays for a new iPhone and iPod touch, a Taiwan-manufactured netbook that’s reportedly already in working prototype stage, and a device with a wafer-thin screen that would link wirelessly to a content-providing box similar to Apple TV. Apparently they leaked a iPhone nano case in december 08. This was enough to fuel rumors of an iPhone nano coming at Macworld 2009.

Rest is history. Apparently it was said a few days later that Xskn has not just added that iPhone nano cover option on its website it has actually started selling it!

With none other than engadget itself reporting a rumor of the same to be out by Q4 2007. If we look back at the Macworld 07 where Steve Job has clearly mentioned an upcoming iPhone 3G. And thats what we saw in 2008. Ofcourse with the SDK and Appstore!

However the iPhone Nano and Shuffle were clearly the imagination of some psyco. And we are still expecting it in 2009…
