There is a limitation by Apple for this official AppStorea app-  this version can only make Skype-to-Skype calls with Wi-Fi connections, not over 3G. However it is possible to chat and sign in over 3G/EDGE/GPRS connection.

The reviews across the app store are good and there are some reports of jailbroken iPhones having compatibility problems. Some reports of app crashes aswell. But with a app that is downloaded by the masses such small complains are negligible…
