While the Zune HD is quite up to date with features and has things that the Apple iPod lineup lacks … like the FM, the OS x and UI with the AppStore might be Apple’s best bet. And who knows you might well see those Camera iPods from Apple coming up. But one thing is clear here! Apple is gearing up to steal Microsoft’s thunder with its iPod event on Sept 9th…

Here are the features war:

The 8GB Zune HD is $100 cheaper than the current 8GB iPod touch 2G. But Apple has over 60000 apps loaded on the iTunes AppStore that can be a game changer here. How many times has it happened that a killer product comes in and loses out against Apple iTouch just because of that extra leverage from the App Store? Will the iPod touch 3G come up strongly against the Zune HD? or its the App Store that will rescue the iPod touch?

The confusion of Grace Note’s Blu Ray support in iTunes was solved by beta who stated that iTunes incorporates Video ID which will allow consumers to flip between the files through their cover art and other information. This, however, doesn’t mean that Blu-ray support is coming in iTunes.

most of the genuine users will miss this but the concept is well understood.

This seems to be a direct attack on Apple’s claim to “aggressively protect” it’s Intellectual Property.

Not only palm will infringe with iPhone patents but also have found way out to make the pre sync with Apple’s own music store .

Palm might not be able to sneak that easily, as this has some significant legal implications – and we already know Apple have some good luck and big power with it .

AT&T also plans to begin LTE trials by 2010.this will help them retain the iPhone that Verizon is aiming on .

hard to believe but this again is among the rumour that apple is going to do this .

apple next gen iphone will have 16GB and 32 Gb variant.it agian have three more variant which is like 3G ,enhanced 3G and chinese CDMA mobile.

iLounge customer wont be able to choose thier wanted models but rather will be forced to have whatever model the carrier in their country offers.

There are very few things that are on the banned list in our household. But iPods and iPhones are two things we don’t get for our kids

So do they want their kids to love Microsoft products and join the company some time in future? And what I really want to know is are they also banned from using Gmail and Google Search?

IMO these wont be that bad. They would certainly adjust. But compulsion of using ZUNE, LIVE SEARCH and HOTMAIL would be really harsh on the kids
