Fortune 100 list now has Apple at no 71

Recession time boom (profits) has helped Apple sail inside the fortune 100 list of companies for the first time in 15 years. Ranked at 103rd position last year, Apple has not jumped to 71st rank. iPhone’s success and constant growth of Mac platform has resulted in this ranking.

While the cos world wide are battling recession and low sales, Apple is seeing a boost – mainly due to new products and constant innovation.

Other industry players in the F100 list are HP (at 9), Microsoft (at 35) while Google is still out at no 117.
